The visualization shows a sharp, upward-trending line chart and a series of rising bar graphs, mimicking a hockey stick growth curve. To the right, the line culminates in a bright arrow pointing toward the top right corner, flanked by two circular, glowing orange icons containing a dollar sign graph and a group icon representing people.

Introducing Power Play, a smarter way to run your text program

Set a budget. We capture every donor and dollar that clears your ROI target.

Most text programs make you guess -- when to send, how often, when a message has run its course.

Hockeystick's Power Play takes that off your plate.

Here's how it works:

  1. You set a budget ceiling and an ROI target, and we scale your text program to capture every dollar that clears it.
  2. Our spending follows performance -- we keep sending, using your copy, over days or weeks, as long as your ROI holds, and we stop the moment the budget runs out or the return drops.
  3. When a message hits, we push it hard. When it doesn’t, we change gears before it costs you.

The larger the budget, the more creative we can get and the more scale we can hit. One campaign put a $30,000 texting budget into Power Play and pulled in 2,921 brand-new donors -- a fresh, ownable chunk of their file, raised entirely inside their ROI target.

Because you set the floor, the risk is capped by design: on spends of $5K+, you'll never spend more than you raise. Worst case, you break even.
